ABOUT ELISE
Elise provides a safe, welcoming, supportive and nurturing environment. She is committed to helping you experience positive change, improve relationships, and gain a greater sense of personal strength and growth. She has experience treating a wide array of presenting problems, but she has specific passion for women's issues, anxiety, depression, childhood and adult trauma, high risk adolescents, and parent-child conflicts.
Elise’s education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of Missouri and a Master of Science in Family Therapy from Friends University. She is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist in Missouri. Elise has served on the executive board for the Greater Kansas City Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the Missouri Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the Liberty Alliance for Youth, and Building Better Moms. She also works closely with area school districts to train faculty, help write mental health curriculum, and collaborate with committees focused on students' social and emotional health. Elise has previously worked for Missouri Girls Town Foundation and Tri-County Mental Health Services.
When Elise is not in her office, she enjoys traveling, experimenting with cooking, listening to mystery podcasts, and spending time with her family.
